Read news and RSS feeds on a Kindle

News sites are heavy and often break in the Kindle browser. RSS sidesteps that: you get each article's text without the page around it.

The RSS reader

KindleHub has an RSS reader in the browser. Add the feeds you follow, and read articles as clean text sized for e-ink. It also has a news section for headlines.

Finding a feed

Most blogs and news sites publish one. Try adding /feed or /rss to the site address, or search the site's name plus RSS.

Opening it on your Kindle

  1. On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
  2. Type kindlehub.pro into the address bar.
  3. Bookmark it. Nothing to install, no jailbreak, and a firmware update cannot break it.

Questions

Can I read the news on a Kindle?

Yes. An RSS reader in the Kindle browser shows articles as clean text, which loads far better than the full news site.

Do I need an app?

No, it runs in the Kindle's built-in web browser.
