How to play
An idle mining game. Tap SWING THE PICK for ore, then spend it on hand picks, diggers, steam drills, blast crews and tunnel bores. Each one digs on its own, for ever, and each one you buy makes the next 15% dearer. The mine keeps working while the app is shut: it is paid against the clock the moment you open it or tap anything, so nothing on this screen ticks and nothing flashes. Any absence pays at most eight hours. Once you have dug a million ore you can COLLAPSE the mine: you lose all the ore and every machine and keep gems instead, and every gem makes everything 2% faster from then on. Collapsing is the only way to earn gems, so the multiplier only ever moves when you choose to start again.
Like every game in KindleHub, Deep Vein is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
