How to play

Solitaire with everything face up, so it is thinking rather than luck. Build columns down in alternating colours, use the four free cells as temporary parking, and send each suit home from the ace. How many cards you can move at once depends on how many free cells and empty columns you have, and a column you are moving INTO cannot also be used to stage the move. Auto sends home only what is safe to send. Deals use the standard numbering, so deal 1 here is deal 1 anywhere, and no deal is offered until the game has proved to itself that it can be won with the cells you have. Play with 5, 4, 3 or 2 free cells; a hint replays a real solution.

Like every game in KindleHub, FreeCell is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.

How to open it on your Kindle

  1. On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
  2. Type kindlehub.pro into the address bar.
  3. Bookmark it. That is the whole setup: nothing to install, no jailbreak, and a firmware update cannot break it.
