Play Tower of Hanoi on your Kindle
How to play
Move the whole stack of disks from the left peg to the right peg. Tap a peg to lift its top disk, then tap another peg to drop it. You can never place a bigger disk on a smaller one. Fewer moves is better, from a full tower the minimum is 2ⁿ−1 for n discs, and the game works out the exact fewest for a scrambled start too. A ladder of eight towers from 3 to 10 discs, a daily puzzle that starts part-solved on a random peg, and free scrambles. Undo costs a move; a hint costs your unaided run.
Like every game in KindleHub, Tower of Hanoi is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
How to open it on your Kindle
- On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
- Type kindlehub.pro into the address bar.
- Bookmark it. That is the whole setup: nothing to install, no jailbreak, and a firmware update cannot break it.
