How to play
The classic disc-flipping strategy game (Othello), now a full campaign. Climb a 12-opponent Ladder, each smarter than the last (four AI strength tiers powered by a look-ahead search), earning up to 3 stars per foe by the size of your win. Beat foes to unlock the next, collect stars to unlock board themes, and finish the Ladder. There's a deterministic Daily Challenge (same game for everyone) with a streak, a Free Play difficulty picker, achievements, plus Undo and a limited Hint. You play the SOLID discs; grab the corners. They never flip. There is also two-player: pass-and-play on one device, or online against another Kindle. Two-player games are kept out of the Ladder, the Daily and the leaderboard.
Like every game in KindleHub, Reversi is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
How to open it on your Kindle
- On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
