Play 8-Ball on your Kindle
How to play
A top-down pool table with three modes. 1 Player (practice: clear the table in as few shots as you can), 2 Players (pass-and-play on one device, taking turns) and Play Online (match a friend on another device). Aim by dragging BACK from the white cue ball (like a slingshot). The dotted line shows where it will go, then release to shoot; the further you drag, the harder the hit. In 2-player/online, sink a ball to shoot again; miss or scratch and it passes to your opponent. Pot your balls, then the black 8-ball last to win. Sinking the 8 early (or with a scratch) loses.
Like every game in KindleHub, 8-Ball is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
How to open it on your Kindle
- On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
- Type kindlehub.pro into the address bar.
- Bookmark it. That is the whole setup: nothing to install, no jailbreak, and a firmware update cannot break it.
