How to play

Real 8-ball pool on a top-down table. Modes: Play vs Computer (Easy, Medium or Hard), Practice (clear all 15 balls in as few shots as you can), 2 Players (pass-and-play on one device) and Play Online (a friend on another device). Balls 1-7 are solids, 9-15 are stripes (a white ball with a band) and the 8 is black; every ball shows its number. Aim by dragging BACK from the white cue ball like a slingshot and release to shoot: the further you pull, the harder the hit. Or tap behind the white to point the cue, fine-tune with the arrow buttons, set the power with - and +, and press Shoot. The dotted line and ghost ball show where the white will strike and where the object ball will go; a cross in the ghost ball means that hit would be a foul. The table is open after the break: the first ball you pot claims its group. Hit one of your own balls first, pot all of your group, then pot the 8 to win. Pot one of yours to shoot again. Fouls hand your opponent ball in hand (they tap where the white should go): potting the white, hitting nothing, or hitting the wrong ball first. Potting the 8 before your group is cleared, or with a foul, loses. If the 8 goes down on the break it goes back on its spot.
