Play Deep Halls on your Kindle
How to play
A turn-based dungeon crawler. Move with the arrow pad (or arrow keys), or tap a square next to you. Walk into a monster to attack it. Nothing moves until you do, so take your time. Pick up potions (!), weapons (/), armour (]) and gold ($) by walking over them, and find the stairs (>) to go deeper. Killing monsters levels you up, which raises your health, attack and defence. You heal a little on each new floor. Traps show as a small ring when you are next to one, so look before you step. Shrines (&) offer one bargain each. Traders (*) from depth 2 sell potions, gear and spells. Cast a spell from the Spells button and it lands on the next monster you hit. Death ends the run. Your deepest floor is kept.
Like every game in KindleHub, Deep Halls is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
How to open it on your Kindle
- On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
- Type kindlehub.pro into the address bar.
- Bookmark it. That is the whole setup: nothing to install, no jailbreak, and a firmware update cannot break it.
