Play Dungeon Quest on your Kindle
How to play
The Kindle edition of Dungeon Quest 3D. First person, but turn by turn: you move one tile and turn ninety degrees at a time, and the screen redraws once per action, which is the one thing an e-ink panel is superb at. Pick a Knight, Ranger or Mage. Take a job from the Notice Board in the town square, buy a sword at the Smithy and potions from the Arcanist, rest at the Inn, then walk down into the Hollow Caves. Clear every monster on a floor before the stairs down will open. The Lich waits at the bottom. Arrow keys move and turn, Space attacks, E enters a door or a stair, M is the map.
Like every game in KindleHub, Dungeon Quest is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
How to open it on your Kindle
- On the Kindle, open the menu and choose Web Browser (on some models it is under Experimental or the … menu).
- Type kindlehub.pro into the address bar.
- Bookmark it. That is the whole setup: nothing to install, no jailbreak, and a firmware update cannot break it.
