Play Sleeper Crew on your Kindle
How to play
Seven of you are repairing a ship and one of you is not crew. Nothing moves until you act. Each watch you either walk to one of the rooms next door or stay and work on a repair, and then everybody else moves. The map shows how many people are in each room, never who — you only see names for the room you are standing in, and that is your evidence. When a body is found there is a meeting: everybody still alive says where they were on the watch it happened, and every one of them tells the truth except one. Two rules settle it. Anyone you SAW somewhere other than the body's room was not the killer, and two people who name EACH OTHER in a room away from the body are both clear, because the killer had to be standing over the body. So the sleeper cannot be vouched for, and it knows it: rather than claim an empty room it will say it was with somebody who was really on their own, and then two people are telling you stories that cannot both be true. The crew will back your call unless one of them can clear the person you name. Get it wrong and a crewmate goes out of the airlock for nothing. You win by putting the sleeper out or by finishing all six repairs; you lose when only two of you are left, because at that point nobody can prove anything to anybody. It cannot kill you — you are the one reporting to the bridge every watch.
Like every game in KindleHub, Sleeper Crew is drawn once and only the parts that change are redrawn, so the e-ink screen does not flash between moves. It runs in the Kindle's built-in browser and in any phone, tablet or desktop browser.
How to open it on your Kindle
